Sponny – Terms of Service

1. About Sponny
Sponny (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates a mobile platform that allows venues to publish time-limited promotions (such as spontaneous happy hours) and allows users to discover those offers.
Sponny does not sell alcohol, does not currently process alcohol purchases, and does not operate venues.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must be legally permitted to consume alcohol in your jurisdiction
- Venues must be legally licensed to serve alcohol
By using Sponny, you confirm you meet these requirements.
3. User Accounts
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Keep your account secure
- Not impersonate others
- Not use Sponny for unlawful purposes
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
4. Venue Accounts
Venues confirm that:
- They are authorised to represent the venue
- All promotions comply with liquor licensing laws
- Pricing, availability, and conditions are accurate
- Staff will honour valid Sponny promotions
Sponny reserves the right to remove or decline venue listings or promotions.
5. Promotions & Offers
- Promotions are created and controlled by venues
- Sponny does not guarantee availability or pricing
- Venues may modify or withdraw offers at any time (subject to local law)
- Users must comply with venue rules and responsible service of alcohol requirements
6. Responsible Use
You agree not to:
- Encourage unsafe or excessive alcohol consumption
- Misuse promotions
- Harass venues or other users
- Attempt to bypass app safeguards
7. Intellectual Property
All Sponny branding, software, designs, and content are owned by Sponny or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform without permission.
8. Disclaimers
- Sponny is provided “as is”
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted access
- We are not responsible for venue conduct or alcohol service decisions
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sponny is not liable for:
- Personal injury
- Intoxication-related incidents
- Losses arising from venue actions
- Indirect or consequential damages
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access at any time for breaches or misuse.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
